Following the Minister’s announcement, we are moving our final assessment exams for 3rd Years to the last week of this term. The exams will run from Monday 25th May until Friday 29th of May 2020.
The final grade in each subject will be a combination of continuous assessment marks obtained over the last three years and the marks obtained in their final exams in May.
We will be issuing a school Certificate with the Level, Grade and CBA results, as well as a statement on other areas of learning. All students will also be receiving a State Examination Certificate of Completion for the Junior Certificate.
We recognise that the current circumstances are difficulty for all, so we want to help where we can. In particular, if there are not enough devises in any household to allow all students to sit their exams at the same time, please contact us so we can make arrangement to deal with this. We hope to timetable the exams so it will be possible to building in a later start without effect other exams or subjects.
Finally, I would like to thank the students and parents for their cooperation so far. We are almost there, we have only two weeks of online/remote classes, one week of revision and one week of exams left.
Please make sure your son attends his online classes so he will know exactly what is required for his exams and help him achieve his potential in terms of grades.
