Trip to the Ploughing Championships
Tuesday saw some of our 3rd/TY/5th/6th Year students head off to Ratneniska, Co. Laois for the annual National Ploughing Championship. The lads had an early start, but it was worth it as a great day was had by all despite the atrocious weather. A special word of thanks to Mr. Kearney for organising and accompanying the students for what was a great experience and a fantastic day out.

1st Year Taster classes
Our 1st Years have now completed rotation 1 of their taster classes. They will start rotation 2 on Monday morning. A timetable will be distributed to the 1st Year students in Tutorial class on Monday morning. We hope that they are all enjoying this experience. We believe that subject tasters classes offer the students an opportunity to sample as many subjects as possible before making their final decision at the end of term 1. More details on how to choose your preferred option will be issued to parents before the end of term 1.

Hurling News
Junior hurling matches started back with our Junior narrowly losing to Thomastown Kilkenny. The boys put in a great performance in the second half after a rocky first half as the players got to grips with the physicality of the Leinster competition. Next game is Tuesday against Newbridge. AGB abú
