Leaving Certificate 2021
Congratulations to our Leaving Certificate class of 2021 on the excellent results they achieved under the most difficult of circumstances.
A special word of congratulations to Conor Nugent on achieving the maximum of 625 points in the exams. He will be awarded the Arklow C.B.S. Br. Doody Cup in recognition of this exceptional achievement. Conor’s work ethic & full participation in all aspects of school life were exemplary and we are sure this will continue as he goes on to undertake the prestigious Actuarial Science Degree Course in University College Dublin.
As a year group the Leaving Certificate class of 2021’s achievements were very impressive with students achieving high points across the board. Arklow C.B.S. Edmund Rice Scholarship's’ will be announced and awarded shortly.
Over 75% of our sixth-year cohort will be going on to Third Level Colleges & Universities, this is in line with previous years. Additionally, over 16% of our students have already secured apprenticeships in a variety of fields. We are extremely proud of the achievements of our students.
On behalf of the Board of Management and the teaching staff, we want to thank the group for their contribution to our school during their time with us; for their resilience in the face of all the obstacles they faced due to Covid-19 and to sincerely wish them every success in the future.
