Fantastic cooperation and compliance from students with the covid 19 regulations in Arklow CBS.

The staff of Arklow CBS would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and commend all the students on their mask wearing etiquette, their social distancing, their hand hygiene and classroom hygiene compliance. We understand that the wearing of masks and keeping socially distanced from your friends all day is not easy or natural but the students of Arklow CBS have adjusted to this new “normal” extremely well and we are very proud of you.

We would like to remind parents/guardians that in the interest of the health and safety of our students and staff that NO INCIDENTAL CALLING TO THE SCHOOL IS PERMITTED. Parents/guardians MUST make an appointment by calling the school office on 0402 32564 prior to calling to the school. If you must come to the school for an appointment you MUST wear a MASK.

We would also like to thank parents/guardians for their understanding, assistance and cooperation with this matter

Well done everyone and keep up the good work.

Liaison students 2020/21

This year we have a fantastic group of young men who are our liaison students. They are a group of senior students that are trained to act as “buddies” to our new first year students. The liaison students act as a “friendly face” and meet with their assigned classes and students regularly to ease the transition into the secondary school system. This year’s liaison students are a bunch of eager and enthusiastic students who are more than willing to help the first year students with any concerns, fears, worries or questions they may have about school.

We wish them the best of luck in their new roles.
