Parent teacher meetings
A big thank you to all the first year parents who logged on for their son’s parent teacher meeting via Microsoft Teams last week. The meeting was very well attended, and parents were given an up to date account of their son’s progress.
The 5th year and 2nd year parent teacher meeting will also take place on line in the coming weeks. The 5th Year parent teacher meeting is on 3rd February and 2nd year parent teacher meeting is taking place on the 7th February. All parents are strongly advised to log on for this very important meeting to discuss their son’s progress. You can log on to this meeting through your son’s Teams account at the allocated time.
Ceardlann Sraith Pictiúr
Bhain daltaí ón 6ú bliain taitneamh agus tairnhe as an gceardlann Sraith Pictiúr le High Rock Productions. Ta súil again go mbeidh se cabhrach don scrúdú cainte.
6th year students enjoyed a Sraith Pictiúr workshop in school this week. A great time was had by all and we hope the students found the workshop helpful as they prepare for their oral exams in April.
Breakfast Club
The Arklow CBS Breakfast Club made a welcome return this week. Students can avail of free tea and toast every morning in the canteen between 8:15-8:35 sharp.
Athletics Training
Athletics training continues here in Arklow CBS with Mr. O’Gorman, after school every Thursday from 4-5. Beginners and experienced athletes are welcome.
Basketball Training
2nd Year basketball training with Ms. Merrigan, has resumed on Tuesdays with the 1st Years training on Wednesdays after school from 3:50 – 5:00. .
Positive Affirmation Committee
This week we had a number of Junior students recommended to PAC for meeting milestones on their merit sheets. Well done to each of them as they continue to display exemplary work, excellent behaviour and an overall positive contribution to the school community.
