Second year Basketball
Our second year basketball players made the long journey to Ramsgrange to play in the shield semi final. The lads got off to a slow start in the first quarter getting 2 well worked scores through Aleks Panic but conceded 11 points on the other end of the court.
After some inspirational words from ms Merrigan and ms O Dowd in the break the lads came out in the second quarter fired up and desperate to close the 8 point gap. Liam Flusk came straight out the gate with a fantastic 3 pointer and the team started to settle into the game. The team scored 7 points this quarter and closed the gap to just 4 points. The lads hustled for every rebound and loose ball and showed great determination. Their hard work paid off and they brought the game level at the end of the 3rd quarter.
With a victory in sight the lads continued the push throughout the last quarter and Ramsgrange were unable to match the intensity the cbs lads brought. With clutch scores from Aleks and Liam the cbs won the game 24-19.

Review of House Exam
We have now completed a full review of all learning outcome for our Second and Fifth year students. Each students will meet with one teacher to discuss the recommendations and to give the students an input in to their improvement plan, once these meeting are completed, parents will receive a copy of the recommendations.
