ERST Talk 

On Monday 10th November members from the Edmund Rice Schools Trust spoke to TY students about setting up a link with a Christian Brother School in Kanvilli in West Africa. Our students were very interested in what the speakers had to say and we are currently starting to work on the link between the two schools.

TY Trip - An Triail

On Thursday 20th November Transition Year students, along with Ms. Doyle and Ms. Cummins went to see the Irish drama An Triail. The play took place in The Axis Theatre in Ballymun, Co. Dublin. The students enjoyed the production and were pleasantly surprised at how humorous the play was.


The senior u-19 golf team:Peter Tyrrell and Darren Furlong won 1 up and Peter O'Reilly and Harry Walker lost 3 down, giving our senior Golf Team an overall loss of 2 down to St. Gerard's Bray in Arklow Golf Course on 20th November. 


Llunch times every Thursday, Stephen Acton gives drama classes to any students interested in acting. They are currently working on a piece based on the 1916 Rising for the up coming Arklow Music Festival.


A study skills programme ran by Super Generation Study Skills was held in the school on Saturday 22nd November from 10-12.30  for all students interested.


First and second year students had a friendly match with Bridgetown on 18th November and enjoyed a victory with a final score of 5-0 to us.The u-19 team suffered a loss of 3-1 against Colaiste Chill Mhantain on 24th November.
The u-17 team won 4-1 on penalties after a 3 all draw against Longford on 25th November and go through to the next round.


The First year Gaelic team played against Avondale in Ballinakill, Centre of Excellence on 17th November. Unfortunately the team lost 6-10 to 2-4.


TY students had a two day work shop recently on theatre and film music ran by SFX make up. All enjoyed the work shop thoroughly.


ON Tuesdays from 3.30-4.30 Arklow CBS students are doing a computer programming course similar to COEDERDOJO. On Saturdays, a COEDERDOJO course is ran for any students aged between 7 to 16.Enquiries to the school.


Our school Open Night was held on 28th November from 7 to 9 pm. Teachers and many students helped on the evening which was very well attended. Enquiries re enrolments to the school office.
