MENTAL HEALTH WEEK

Students participated in the many events of Mental Health Week, including Smashing Times Theatre group,Bully4U, sports blitz and the Big Sing where the school choir sang along with other local schools.

ZEMINAR

Senior students enjoyed a trip to Zeminar in the RDS on the 12th Oct, promoting mental health.

GERMAN FILM

TY and fifth year students enjoyed the German movie,"About a Girl", in the Mermaid Theatre, Bray on the 11th Oct.

FIRST YEAR INDUCTION

First Year students had an induction day in Glendalough recently, doing the Spink hike.

BASKETBALL

Congratulations to the u-19 team who beat Glenart College 62-19 in the South East League in Glenart College on the 30th Sep.

GAELIC Football

Well done to the u-16 Gaelic team who beat Creagh College, Gorey 5-10 to 3-4 on the 5th Oct.

ATHLETICS

Junior students took part in the 500m cross country relay in Avondale Forest Park on the 27th Sept and came in 2nd place in the 3rd year race

SCHOOL CHOIR

The school choir will be performing in the Loaves and Fishes Gala Concert in the Bay Hotel on the 20th Oct.

AN TRIAIL

TY students went to an Irish play, visual theatre, Carlow.

GOLF

The Junior gof team Conor Cronin, Gavin Walker and Riain Fortune played in the Irish Schools Junior Championship in Bray Golf Club on 13th Oct.The team played very well on the day.

WORLD CHAMPION TAEKWONDO

A big congratulations to third year student, Oisin Byrne who became the world champion in taekwondo u-16 in Brighton in July. He was recently presented with an award at a civic reception in Arklow.
