FIELD TRIP:
Sixth year students had a field trip to Glendalough river Lug Duff on 23rd Nov to measure river processes as part of geography project for Leaving Cert.
HOPE IN THE DARKNESSThis voluntary organisation gave a talk to Junior Cert students as part of their Junior Cert projects for CSPE. This organisation serves meals four nights a week outside the GPO to the homeless and receive many donations through facebook.
ATHLETICS:
Wicklow Schools Invitational Athletics:ResultsBoys 14:4th Ben Stephenson in Avondale on 22nd Nov and 5th:Ben Stephensen in St. Gerard's Bray on 25th Oct.
BASKETBALL:
Our senior and junior teams suffered losses against Avondale, in Avondale on 15th Nov of 20-17 and 53-32 respectively.
SONG SCHOOL:
Transition year students enjoyed two days of song school recently as part of the TY music course.
SOCCER:
WICKLOW/WEXFORD LEAGUE U19 team lost 3-2 against Carnew in Carnew on 17th Nov. Scorers were Peter Hempenstall and Ross Hanley. On 24th Nov the team had a 2-2 draw against Wexford CBS in Wexford town. Scorers were Quentin O Reilly and Eoghan O Neill. Sadly the team is now out of the league.
24 HOUR GAEILGE:
On 28th Nov students participated in 24 Gaeilge where they spoke Irish over a 24 hour period. All enjoyed the challenge!
HAMLET:
Sixth year students are looking forward to seeing the Hamlet movie in Gorey Cinema on 1st Dec, as part of L.C. English course.
