Extra Curricular Activities
The extra curricular activities for First Years are proving to be a huge success with professional coaches in rugby, Gaelic and Hurling coming to the school on a weekly basis to work with our students.

Junior Cert ResultsThis Wednesday saw our TY and Fifth year students receive their Junior Cert results. This years results were excellent and are a credit to the hard work of both the students and teachers.Trip to GlendaloughTo celebrate the Junior Cert results the parent's council of arklow CBS sponsored a trip to Glendalough for the students awaiting exam results. Our athletes took part in the Wicklow Schools Invitational Track and Field in Charlesland, Greystones on 24th April. All students thoroughly enjoyed the day and brought home the following results:

On Tuesday 28th February our first and second years had basketball matches against Colaiste Cill Mhantain. Our first years won 9-2 and man of the match went to Tommy New.
Our second years also were victorious with a score of 20-14. Man of the match went to Independence Winters. Congratulations to our players.

FIRST YEAR HURLING BLITZ
Our first year students took part recently in a 7 a side hurling blitz for Co. Wicklow schools at Arklow Sports and Leisure Centre. Our first years were the overall winners beating Wicklow Community College in the final 16-15. Our team played seven games, won six of these and drew one. A big congratulations to the team and their coach, Joe Connors.

Thursday, 26th January a group of transition year and fifth year students went to Griffith College, Dublin to participate in a number of workshops, including graphic design, film making, photography and radio excercises. All students thoroughly enjoyed their time spent at the College. Thanks to Ms. Seery for organising!
