10 March 2021
Dear Parent/Guardian
As we prepare for the return of the fifth year students, we want to take the opportunity to remind everybody of the protocols required of us all:
- Social distancing at all-times whether inside or outside the building. 1 metre while wearing facemasks and 2 metres without masks.
- Enter/Leave by the nearest external door to your classroom.
- Use Hand sanitiser on the way in to the building and regularly throughout the day.
- Follow all the one-way traffic flow systems in place and keep your distance from the person in front of you.
- Face masks must be worn at all-time indoors. There will be a zero-tolerance approach to incorrect mask wearing and if the mask doesn't seem to fit appropriately, students will be asked to change it or go to office to get a new mask.
- Students will be asked to sanitise their desk before leaving class.
- Currently, we will not be running PE classes. During the PE slot students will have an opportunity to revise and study other subjects under the supervision of their PE teachers.
- As PE is not running students must wear their normal school uniforms every day, so please make sure the uniform is ready for Monday 15th March 2021.
- All parents must complete the return to school Health declaration attached.
- Failure to comply with Health & Safety/Covid guidelines will be taken seriously and will result in disciplinary action
As a school community, your adherence to the Public Health protocols will affect us all and we are asking parents/guardians to reinforce this message with their son(s) so that we can ensure that each individual’s behaviour does not adversely affect others.
Regards
Peter Somers
