The weather was fabulous and it was a welcome escape from the classroom for the boys. The students got to do some geographical experiments at the beach and stopped at Murt’s on their way back from school. Thanks to the staff at Murt’s for catering for the students during a busy lunch time. An enjoyable trip was had by all.
Wicklow Enterprise Award
Two teams represented the school at the Wicklow County Student Enterprise Awards.
Their companies are called Positively Delicious Recipes and Only Fools and Horseshoes. Well done to both teams for being selected.
A huge congratulations and well done to TY student Jamie Tobin who took the runner up prize in the recent Wicklow Student Enterprise Awards with his mini company and cookbook “Positively Delicious Recipes”. This is a fantastic and well -deserved achievement for Jamie. Jamie kindly donated the proceeds of his book, a whopping €6,900 to Pieta House. Well done Jamie we are extremely proud of you.
Leaving Certificate Awards 2020
Unfortunately, this year, we were unable to hold our Annual Awards Evening for the class of 2020, however, we managed to arrange for the individual recipient to come into school to receive their awards. A huge congratulations and well done to all the recipients on their fantastic achievements. Indeed we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our students from the class of 2020 the very best in their upcoming 3rd level exams and continued good luck for the future.
