TY Rounders Tournament.

TY students tool part in a rounders tournament this week. An enjoyable day was had by all despite the cold wind blowing across the pitch. In a highly competitive day of action the blue, red and yellow teams won a game each, but the green team were the Victor's beating all comers! Congratulations to Steven O'Toole, Conn Kinsella, Patrick Boyle, Thomas Burke, Fionn Henry, Sean McCarthy, Tony Xue, Cian Dodson, Eric O'Toole, and Jo's Raftery.

A big thank you to Oscar for providing the music. Edel and the canteen staff for providing burgers and a cookie to keep everybody going to Elaine for keeping an eye on proceedings and to Ms. Merrigan for organising.

Non -uniform Day

A non-uniform day will took place on Thursday the 29.04.21. There was a tuck shop set up selling chocolate and ice pops during the breaks. All proceeds raised by the event are going to the “Never Give Up” charity. The “Never Give Up” charity was set up by Chris Proby and it’s sole aim is to raise funds for both The Irish Cancer Society and Arklow Cancer Support.

All students who donated in the non uniform day will also be given discount cards worth 20% off entry to the 2021 Never Give Up Virtual Challenge which takes place between July 1st and July 11th with all proceeds being split between Arklow Cancer Support and Irish Cancer Society.

A huge well done to all who participated and helped out with the fundraising for this important charity.

A huge congratulations and well done to the 2nd year French and History students who have completed their CBA this week. A huge amount of effort and practice went into the preparation of the CBA’s. The teachers were extremely impressed.
