A no uniform day will take place tomorrow - Thursday
All proceeds raised from the day will go to 'Never Give Up'.
Never Give Up is a charity set up by Chris Proby and its sole aim is to raise funds for the both The Irish Cancer Society and Arklow Cancer Support.
The cost of the no-uniform day is €2 but we would greatly appreciate all extra donations.
A tuck shop will also be open during break times selling chocolate bars and ice pops! Again all proceeds will be given to Never Give Up.
All students who participate in the no uniform day will also be given discount cards worth 20% off entry to the 2021 Never Give Up Virtual Challenge, which you can run, walk or jog! The 2021 Never Give Up Virtual Challenge takes place between July 1st and July 11th, with all proceeds again being split between Arklow Cancer Support and the Irish Cancer Society.
The money raised will provide many amazing services for both cancer patients and cancer survivors, not only for our local community, but also to the rest of the country. These services include transport for patients in need of treatment, well-being classes, counselling services as well as different types of therapies to help people during or after treatment.
